Witness for Wildlife
Witness for Wildlife (W4W) organizes and inspires trips into the great wildlife corridors of the continent, for people to hike and climb and paddle and camp, to bear witness to the wonders of the wildlands and the wildlife within them.
Through these trips, people experience the awe-inspiring beauty and mystery of large-scale forces at work, in particular the migration of animals across vast distances. Witness for Wildlife inspires a broad and deep grassroots awareness of wildlife corridors.
W4W combines citizen science with a web community. All Witness for Wildlife citizen naturalists are encouraged to report, share stories, and upload data, images and videos onto a W4W website when they return. This community of newly inspired and informed W4W citizen naturalists will be an important asset for future work.
Witness for Wildlife is a great way for organizations to engage their staff, family, friends and members to take action and make a difference by getting out into the wild as a citizen naturalist – anybody can do it!
